How You  Can Find Jesus

"There is no one righteous, not even one...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:10 & 23 NIV)

"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8 NIV)

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23 NIV)

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9-10 NIV)

First:  We have to admit that we are sinners~that we do things that separate us from God and that we cannot possibly mend that relationship by ourselves!

Second:  We have to understand that God loves us~He created us and wants us to have a relationship with Him. He loved us so much that He died for us.

Third:  We must recognize that we are sinners,  and that death and separation from God are sin's rewards.

Now:  Jesus gives us a free gift~the gift of life, life eternal.  But, we have to accept this gift. We have to actually say that we want Jesus to be in control of our lives and to live within us and then we have to tell others about Him. ARE YOU READY?      

If you are ready to accept Jesus as your personal Savior,  then right now pray this simple prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You in the Name of Jesus.

Your Word says, "...him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37).

So I know You won't cast me out, but You will take me in.

And I thank You for it.

You said in Your Word, "...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED....

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:9,13).

I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification.

I am calling upon His Name - the Name of Jesus - so I know, Father, that You will save me now.

Your Word says, "...with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10)

I do believe with my heart, and I confess Jesus now as my Lord.

Therefore I am saved!
